Applications of OTFT

OTFT was initially developed for flexible display backplanes that require materials to withstand high strains without damage.   FlexOSTM semiconductor materials have been successfully incorporated in reflective and OLED display prototypes.

NeuDrive’s OTFT display and sensor technologies can be combined to create unique wearable smart monitoring devices that require simple direct read sensors and thin, flexible, lightweight displays.

OTFT also has application in the field of biosensors. Elements of the OTFT can be treated with customized analytes to create sensors that will detect biochemical activity.  This direct read simple technology platform will transform the way that basic research can be conducted in the field of drug development, patient diagnosis and clinical monitoring.

Fabrication support is enabled through access to CPI’s Gen2 process line in a 700m2 class 100 clean room
